Identification:
Perennial; flowers June to August. Grows up to 20 in tall. Leaves 2 to 4 in long and pinnately divided into narrow, sharply toothed lobes. Flowers yellow with four small petals.
Impacts:
A common pest of Netherland ornamental bulb production areas. This plant can reduce bulb crop value and marketability as a contaminate of nursery stock. It invades disturbed wetlands, and some evidence suggests that this species may be allelopathic.
